Carey Dodd Associates client Darren Kent came to us for his new showreel. Featuring work with Keifer Sutherland and from Game of Thrones, we were delighted to put his new reel together.
We recently finished our largest ever production, making over twenty films for the Kallidus elearning company's production of the digital Co-op Staff training. Shot in HD 4K with a cast of over twenty in the Co-op HQ's flagship store. Directed by feature film director Jonathan Glendening with production and post production services being provided by Summer Rain Films.
We had a lovely summer making a film about the Happy Eggs tour bus!
Our graphics department excelled themselves with the new 2015 showreel for the Happy Eggs Co.
For the fourth year running we've produced and edited the summary film of the BBC's trainee sports journalism course. We interview the trainees, do case-studies of placements and then edit it into a fun web package for the BBC website. We also provide the HD master for screening at a special presentation to the graduates of the course.
Summer Rain Films has moved to some spangly new offices in the heart of Brighton. We're in the picturesque shopping area of the South Laines. Only five minutes on foot to Brighton station and five minutes to the beach. We really couldn't be any more central and easy for our clients to find us. Wooden floorboards and rooftop views make it the perfect working environment for us. As you can tell, we're pretty happy with the new premises.
Vikings and Dominion actress Amy Bailey wrote: Jonathan is speedy, smart and precise: all invaluable traits in an editor. He sourced music and material for me that would have otherwise proven tricky to find. I really felt he went the extra mile to deliver exactly what I and my agents wanted. I'm a repeat client, and he's the only one I'll recommend to anyone who asks."
Game of Thrones actor Ian Whyte said: "Jonathan's eagle eye and expert editing are priceless resources for any actor, go nowhere else for your showreel."
We spent a happy day filming happy organic hens on a super sunny susssex farm!
Working with Summer Rain was a joy, they made the process of producing a short film incredibly easy for us. We came to them with an idea and very short time frame and without hesitation, Archie agreed to help us. She quickly grasped the brief and along with her boundless enthusiasm and flexible approach we have a film we are immensely proud of. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Summer Rain. - Caroline Hale - SGSA
Summer Rain Films producer Archie Kalyana makes five films for the BBC Women in Radio Local Sport.
